Kincardine's CRG Energy and Garneau's Earn 2nd Maclean's and Canadian Business Award

KINCARDINE, ONTARIO – CRG Energy and it's holding company, Garneau Group, are pleased to announce the # 57 ranking in the 29th annual PROFIT 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies by Canadian Business. This is the 2nd year that the company's Founders, Sebastien Garneau and Kristy Garneau, have ranked in Canada's Top 100. The company ranked #3 in the Human Resources sector.

The Garneau Group has always been the holding company but never officially branded and launched. The Garneau's are excited to have the newly rebranded Garneau Group represent the direction of its holding companies under its newly aligned business interests.

Under the strategic planning and leadership of the Garneau's, the company is experiencing significant growth across its brands. CRG Energy (Garneau Group) made the 2017 PROFIT 500 list with a five-year revenue growth of 1,291% and Revenues (2016) of $20-$50 million.

Garneau Group's growth continues to be propelled by its flagship company, CRG Energy Projects, a leading provider of nuclear industry contractor services nation-wide. 2017 saw growth in its companies overall. CRG Energy Projects opened new offices in Kincardine, Garneau Group acquired Mosaic IT Staffing to enhance its existing IT contractor service offerings, and a new location was added to the Little Beginnings Daycare & Learning Centres to meet the need for additional programs.

Although diverse in its capital investments, CRG Energy (Garneau Group) maintains a singular commitment to investing in opportunities that deliver on community quality of life, managed growth, profits and excellence in leadership and places to work. The Garneau Group of companies include CRG Energy Projects, specializing in nuclear contractor placement and outsourced payroll solutions; Mosaic IT Staffing, providing staff and recruitment services to the IT industry; and Little Beginnings Daycare and Learning Centres.

“Being ranked in 2016 was an honour in itself. But to have been ranked again in the PROFIT 500 for 2017 just confirms that we're on the right track with our approach to leadership, investments and community building,” says Sébastien Garneau, President of CRG Energy (Garneau Group). “We want to thank our team and clients for making this possible once again.”

“It is never easy to earn a spot on the PROFIT 500, but this year’s applicant pool was the most competitive yet,” says Deborah Aarts, PROFIT 500 Program Manager. “This year’s winners demonstrate the resilience, innovation and sheer management smarts it takes to build a thriving business today. Canada—and the world—needs more entrepreneurial success stories like these.”

“We’re thrilled to be included for a 2nd year in a row alongside some of Canada’s best and brightest companies,” says Garneau. “I really believe this recognition is a testament to the hard work and ideas of our team members, as they are the driving force behind the growth and success we’ve managed to achieve.”
