Tyne Engineering awarded Key Contract in support of the European Fusion Programme

Tyne Engineering and UK Atomic Energy Authority have signed a $4.7M contract for replacement of the Exhaust Detritiation System for the Joint European Torus at the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy. The new system will allow continued tritium-related work at Europe's flagship fusion research facility under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. Nuclear fusion is the process that powers the Sun, and plays a key role in the world's carbon-free energy future. "Tyne is honored to be selected for this work, and will do everything possible to support the customer's  targets.", says Vince Robinson of Tyne Engineering.
