The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) congratulates Nu-Tech Precision Metals for completing the first set of pressure tubes for the Darlington Retube and Feeder Replacement Project
May 4, 2017, Pickering, Ontario. – The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) is proud to congratulate OCNI member Nu-Tech Precision Metals of Arnprior for completing the first order of 480 pressure tubes for Ontario Power Generation’s Darlington Unit 2. Manufacturing of the pressure tubes to exacting quality standards and specifications took two years and was completed eight weeks ahead of schedule. The pressure tubes are now ready for shipment to the Darlington site.
The supply of all the pressure tubes for Darlington Retube and Feeder Replacement Project was contracted to Nu-Tech by the AECON / SNC-Lavalin Joint Venture,
OCNI President and CEO Dr. Ron Oberth presented a “Special Achievement Award” to Nu-Tech CEO George Legate at a ceremony today at Nu-Tech’s Arnprior plant.
