TRC Limited

TRC LTD is a supplier of a wide range of non-nuclear material which includes, but is not limited to all types of valves, pumps, instrumentation devices, hoses, fittings, pressure regulating devices, filters, custom machined parts and other commercially available material. In addition, TRC is a manufacturer of fittings, valves, hose assemblies and other custom engineered equipment and unique tools. TRC also has the capabilities of obtaining CRN registration for code material from the TSSA that docs not currently have registration from the original equipment manufacturer. TRC LTD can also offer a variety of testing services for OEM parts and customer supplied equipment which includes hydrostatic testing up to 60,000psi, pneumatic testing & vacuum testing. TRC Ltd has a Canpac audited Z299.3 and Z299.4 program as well as being registered by the TSSA (B51, B31.1, B31.3) and ISO 9001:2008.

Bruce Power, Framatome sign MoU for safety-related Life-Extension Program updates

Bruce Power today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Framatome valued at $18.7 million covering a range of innovations and new activities, including operational improvements for its nuclear reactors. These innovative modernizations, planned for Bruce A and Bruce B, are an important component of the facility’s Life-Extension Program, which will allow the plant to continue operating through 2064.

November 27, 2018, Ajax Ontario. – The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) held its Annual General Meeting, Awards Lunch and AGM Conference on November 27th at the Ajax Convention Centre in Ajax Ontario. The AGM Conference on "Nuclear Innovation and Medical Isotopes Saving Lives" discussed new technologies for producing a variety of medical isotopes in power reactors as well as in cyclotron facilities in Canada.
