Niagara Fasteners Inc. is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality bolts, nuts, studs, anchor bolts and specialty machined components. We can thread from 6/32” - 6” in diameter and can custom upset our own bolts 1/2”- 2 1/2” in diameter. With CNC lathes and mills we have the ability to manufacturer precision fasteners and machines components. Our fully equipped machine shop also has presses, benders, saws, drills, and mills, welders and conventional lathes with over 50 machines and 42 years of experience. With our in house capabilities we are able to offer a complete line of fasteners, nuclear bolting and nuclear raw materials on time and at a competitive price. Through the use of approved vendors, Niagara Fasteners Inc. has the ability to perform chemical analysis, mechanical testing including charpy impacts and non-destructive examination. (MPI, LPI, UT) Niagara Fasteners Inc. has the ability to supply ferrous and nonferrous fasteners/material to the following subsections of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Bruce Power, Framatome sign MoU for safety-related Life-Extension Program updates

Bruce Power today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Framatome valued at $18.7 million covering a range of innovations and new activities, including operational improvements for its nuclear reactors. These innovative modernizations, planned for Bruce A and Bruce B, are an important component of the facility’s Life-Extension Program, which will allow the plant to continue operating through 2064.

November 27, 2018, Ajax Ontario. – The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) held its Annual General Meeting, Awards Lunch and AGM Conference on November 27th at the Ajax Convention Centre in Ajax Ontario. The AGM Conference on "Nuclear Innovation and Medical Isotopes Saving Lives" discussed new technologies for producing a variety of medical isotopes in power reactors as well as in cyclotron facilities in Canada.
