Conuar FAE


From commencement of production in 1982 Conuar is the leader in Argentina for the manufacture and supply of nuclear fuel, nuclear related tubing and in core components, as well as feeder pipes and supports, flasks, storage containers and heat exchangers. 

Conuar provides many custom fabrication and assembly parts and components to customers around the world.

Conuar FAE is comprised of 3 divisions as follows;

  • Conuar manufactures nuclear fuel assemblies for Ernbalse, Atucha 1and 2 and CAREM.
  • SM&S is responsible for the manufacture of fuel channel components, feeder pipes and other engineered solutions related to the Candu reactors.
  • FAE produces custom and standard sizes of seamless and seam welded pipe and tube in a variety of alloys of SS, Duplex, titanium and zircaloy.

Overall, Conuar is well equipped to service the nuclear industry with high precision components delivered on budget and on schedule.

    Bruce Power, Framatome sign MoU for safety-related Life-Extension Program updates

    Bruce Power today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Framatome valued at $18.7 million covering a range of innovations and new activities, including operational improvements for its nuclear reactors. These innovative modernizations, planned for Bruce A and Bruce B, are an important component of the facility’s Life-Extension Program, which will allow the plant to continue operating through 2064.

    November 27, 2018, Ajax Ontario. – The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) held its Annual General Meeting, Awards Lunch and AGM Conference on November 27th at the Ajax Convention Centre in Ajax Ontario. The AGM Conference on "Nuclear Innovation and Medical Isotopes Saving Lives" discussed new technologies for producing a variety of medical isotopes in power reactors as well as in cyclotron facilities in Canada.
