Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CRPA)

The objective of the Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CRPA) is to advance the development and communication of scientific knowledge and practical means for protecting people and the environment from the unlikely, yet potentially harmful, effects of radiation exposure, while acknowledging that the safe and optimal use of radiation is for the benefit of all society.

These are exciting times for radiation protection professionals. New radiation treatment modalities for fighting cancer and advanced imaging systems are being developed continuously. Nuclear power industry is exploring next-generation reactor and small modular reactor designs to reduce the global carbon footprint.
