OCI will lead a Delegation to the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2016 in Paris, France.

'All the main players in the global nuclear industry will be represented, covering reactor design, construction, nuclear install base services, every stage of the fuel cycle from mining to fabrication through to spent fuel management and recycling as well as engineering, financing solutions, medical applications and certification.'

Construction of two Korean reactors put on hold

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) has decided to temporarily suspend construction of units 5 and 6 at the Shin Kori nuclear power plant in south-eastern Korea. The move comes two weeks after South Korean President Moon Jae-in issued an administrative order to halt construction of the reactors.

EDF confirms Flamanville EPR start-up schedule

French utility EDF has said the EPR unit under construction at its Flamanville site in France will be connected to the grid in May 2019 and reach full power in November 2019. The dates are in line with the timetable for Flamanville 3 it gave in September 2015.
